How I Work
Live.Best.Work is my practice. I work directly with a small number of senior leaders and teams each year — no account team, no hand-off to someone more junior. You get me, and the experience behind me.
My Approach
01. Clarify
Most engagements begin by sorting signal from noise: what actually matters, what only feels urgent, and what the real decision underneath the stated one is.
02. Align
Strategy lives or dies on whether the leadership team genuinely shares it. I work to make the disagreements explicit and the commitments real, so alignment survives contact with the calendar.
03. Sustain
Clarity fades without reinforcement. Ongoing coaching and structure keep priorities connected to daily decisions long after the offsite ends.

Meet Shawn
Shawn Evans, PhD
Founder & Principal Consultant
For three decades I've worked at the intersection of strategy, organizational performance, and leadership — including years as a senior executive. I hold a PhD in Organizational Performance & Leadership, serve as a national examiner for the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, and am a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. I founded Live.Best.Work in 2005 and have worked by referral ever since — across multiple industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, technology, sports, and private equity.
Most of my work happens in the gap between who an organization says it is and how it actually behaves. Closing that gap — honestly, and without drama — is the whole job.
